DESCRIPTION
The Bokken and the Jo teach us different aspects of Aikido that would be very difficult to perceive only with the practice of taijutsu. The word Riai literally means "harmony of principles". The term used to describe the relationship between hand-to-hand work and weapon practice is “Ken Jo Taijutsu Riai”.
